Why Joy?

Joy is an overrated word and, most often, also misunderstood.

Let me share with you what Joy is to me and why it matters in my way of perceiving personal and professional development.

Mission

As you are reading these lines, most likely you are in a place of frustration, whether life is giving you what you did not want of it, or not giving you what you want and desire the most. Sometimes, these two conditions come together, generating stress, anxiety and making us pay a high toll on our lives, leading to failed relationships, whether personally or professionally. While the imbalance on one side very too often puts at risk or even tears down the other side, it also comes at the cost of financial stability, and greater vulnerability.

This picture does not look joyful, does it?

Joy is the key for both going back to a stable and fulfilling life condition, when we feel in hurt, and a state of mind to be nourished constantly in order to preserve one's balance. With Peace of mind and Love, Joy is the most powerful mental condition to help anyone attract beneficial opportunities for growth and fulfilment.

I get you: if you are currently in pain and deep frustration, Joy may seem mission impossible, a mirage, something destined to others, but not you. Let me tell you: it is not as such. Joy is much more at hand than you think.

And I know this because I have experienced it and learned from the books of life. Back in 2022, after three years of struggles and battling for the separation fromh my daughter's father, my left eye's vision was severely impacted by a stroke further to long Covid. Well-known neurologists in Italy said I had developed a severe autoimmune disease: it tool all my mental strength at that time to push back that possibility, and to keep up with life, while progressing in the uncertainty of what would happen in the following two years. The day after the announcement of my endangered medical condition, I decided I go back and stick to what had made me so resourceful and resilient beforehand - before all the chaos started - and that was Joy.

But which Joy? Which part of if? Laughing? Having fun around? Meeting people? Do only things I love and reject those I do not? Joy was that too, and yet so much more to me. Joy was (and is) the inner state of profound fulfilment that allows each and everyone to live in alignment with one's nature and deep life purpose.

About this same time I decided I would become the person I desired to be a kid - a self-development professional, an artist and a dancer.

The sense of Joy and the importance it has in human personal fulfilment is so important that MoveToJoy has been created to help women transition from situations of stress to so that they can develop and fulfil their inner talents and a satisfying professional path.

Joy is not only expressed by the brand of my coaching activity, but also by its logo - the golden sunflower with coloured petals, which is created by a golden fountain springing from the darkest part of the flower core, whose original graphics is originated from the picture of my wounded left eye.
